2017年6月12日から同23日まで、ドイツのマックスプランク人口研究所（Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research）にて、IDEM 107 (Smoothing Demographic Data)とIDEM 181 (Visualizing Data)の２つの研修が開催され、当研究所から福田節也（企画部第２室長）が参加しました。また、滞在中に以下の研究報告を行い、現地の研究者と意見交換を行いました。
