IPSS Web Journal

IPSS Web Journal is professional journal of Population Study and Social Security Study. Edited by National Institute of Population and Social Security Research, it covers all aspects of the field. Our Journal has two parts ; Population Study and Social Security Study.

We've been on the web since 2002, when we first premiered as "Journal of Population and Social Security". We reconstructed our journal to "The Japanese Journal of Population" and "The Japanese Journal of Social Security Policy" to better reflect the nature of our online publications from June 2003.

Since 2013, The Japanese Journal of Population was integrated with Journal of Population Problems (Jinko Mondai Kenkyu) ISSN 0387-2793. Some of the categories of articles, such as survey reports, which used to be published in The Japanese Journal of Population are now published on the IPSS website directly.
