The visit by Vice Chairman of the Korean Presidential Committee on Ageing Society and Population Policy

On 18th July 2024, IPSS hosted the visit by Dr. Joo Hyunghwan, Vice Chairman of the Korean Presidential Committee on Ageing Society and Population Policy, IPSS Director-General HAYASHI Reiko, with KOJIMA Katsuhisa (Deputy Director-General), NORIKOSHI Tetsuya (Coordination Officer for Policy Studies), IWASAWA Miho (Director, Department of Population Dynamics Research), MORIIZUMI Rie (Senior Researcher, Department of Population Dynamics Research), SATO Itaru (Senior Researcher, Department of Theoretical Social Security Research), and NAKAGAWA Masataka (Senior Researcher, Department of International Research and Cooperation), welcomed the visit and discussed issues over low fertility and related policy responses.
