JENESYS2.0 - The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (workshop)
From the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS, China), the youth researcher study tour group with twenty three members visited IPSS on January 17, 2017. The leader of this group was Professor Yang, Bojiang（杨伯江）, Deputy Director-General of Japan Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. This visit is one of the activities of “JENESYS2.0”. This is the youth exchange project between Japan and ASIA-Pacific Area by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. From IPSS, Dr. Reiko Hayashi (Director, Department of International Research and Cooperation) and Mr. Katsuhisa Kojima (Department of International Research and Cooperation) made presentations about population and social security system of Japan. Also from CASS, Dr. FENG Ting(封婷) made presentation about “Population Aging Aspects and Long-term care needs”. After the presentations, we discussed about population and social security of Japan.
