US-Japan Journalism Fellowship Program 2016 (Seminar)

On 21st June 2016, through the US-Japan Journalism Fellowship Program 2016 organized by the Japan Center for International Exchange (JCIE), Ms. Laura Cooper (Wall Street Journal), Ms. Ina Jaffe (National Public Radio), Ms. Julie Makinen (Los Angeles Times) and Mr. Taylor J. Wofford (Newsweek) visited IPSS. Dr. Reiko Hayashi, Director of Department of International Research and Cooperation made presentation on the population issues in Japan, and discussion was made on various issues including population ageing, decline and policies.
