Dr. Ariane Utomo, The Australian National University

Dr. Ariane Utomo (Australian National University) visited IPSS on 8th December, 2015, to present a seminar titled “Who marries whom? Ethnicity and marriage pairing patterns in Indonesia”. Dr Utomo’s research presentation was followed by discussion with IPSS researchers and external participants on ethnicity and marriage as well as broader issues on population and development in Indonesia, and methodological topics including analysis of Indonesian Census data.
