Professor Nay Soe Maung (University of Public Health, Yangon)

Professor Nay Soe Maung, Rector, University of Public Health (Yangon), visited IPSS on August 7th, 2014, to discuss trends in population ageing and issues over the social security systems in Japan. With IPSS staff Reiko Hayashi (Director of International Research and Cooperation), Katsuhisa Kojima (Senior Researcher), Masataka Nakagawa (Researcher) and Yoshihiro Kaneko (Advisory Officer for Policy Research Coordination), future possibilities of international research collaboration between the two institutions were also discussed.
