The 11th Seminar on East Asian Social Welfare Model, Zhaoqing, Guangdong, China, May 4-5, 2019

The 11th Seminar on East Asian Social Welfare Model was held in Zhaoqing city, Guangdong Province, China. This seminar was hosted by China Association of Social Security with cooperation of Guangdong University of Finance. The main theme of this seminar is “Demographic Change and Social Welfare for the Elderly and Children”. The topics of lectures include long-term care, public pension, child welfare and policy measures for society with declining birthrate in Japan, Korea and China.

From IPSS, Katsuhisa KOJIMA (Director, Department of Information Collection and Analysis) participated in the seminar and made presentation about “Integrated Community Care System in Japan Long-term Care System” and discussed with other discussant based on all reported topics.
