Discussion on the low fertility and population aging in Japan,; the current situation and its strategies

Professor Xue-Jin Zuo (Former Executive Vice President and Director of Institute of Economics, Shanghai Academy of Social Science), Professor Xiao-Gang Li (Foreign Investment Research Center, Shanghai Academy of Social Science) visited our institute, accompanied by President Kenji Tanaka (Asia Pacific Forum, institute of general). Mr. Tsukasa Sasai, Senior Researcher of IPSS, explained governmental policies such as the Guideline of Measures for Aging Society and the Outline of Measures against the Declining Birthrates.
