Prof. Ming-Chang Tsai (Academia Sinica) and Prof. Wan-Chi Chen (National Taipei University) visited IPSS on October 18th, 2016 to present their research work titled "Intergenerational Transfer in Taiwan: New Panel Evidence" and "For the Sake of Children? Re-Evaluating the Consequences of Parental Divorce in Taiwan." The discussion with IPSS researchers and external participants followed on the use of panel data, measurement issues, and other possible explanations.
