48th Session of the Commission on Population and Development, United Nations, New York

From 13th to 17th April 2015, Dr.Reiko Hayashi, Director of International Research and Cooperation of IPSS, participated the 48th Session of the Commission on Population and Development, held in Headquarter of United Nations in New York. This year's theme was "Realizing the Future We Want : Integrating Population Issues Into Sustainable Development, Including in the Post-2015 Development Agenda".

・Prior to the Commission, Dr.Hayashi participated in the expert meeting on "The post-2015 era: Implications for the global research agenda on population and development" and discussed on the global ageing as a panelist on the session "Changing age structures and their impact: ageing".
