Study on indicators of child poverty and well-being in the U.S.

From 10 to 15 March 2015, Junko Takezawa (Department of Research Planning and Coordination) visited the following places in the United States to study on indicators of child poverty and well-being;
- The Center for Economic Opportunity in New York City
- The National Center for Children in Poverty in the Columbia University
- The KIDS COUNT Project in the Annie E. Casey Foundation
- The Federal Interagency Forum on Child and Family Statistics in the Office of Management and Budget

This visit was conducted as part of the study “Research on the status of children in poverty and child poverty indicators”, Health and Labor Sciences Research Grants (Research on Policy Planning and Evaluation) FY2014-FY2016, headed by Aya Abe (Director, Department of Empirical Social Security Research).
