European Population Conference 2014, Budapest

At the Corvinus University of Budapest, Hungary, the European Population Conference 2014 was held from 25 to 28 June. Seven IPSS researchers had attended the meeting and presented paper or poster listed below;

In oral sessions:
 Futoshi ISHI (Director, Department of Population Dynamics Research) “Analyzing the trends of the modal age at death for European Countries and Japan using the LD model”
 Miho IWASAWA (Department of Population Dynamics Research) “Parental sex preference for children and parity progression in Japan: new preference for daughters?”

In poster sessions:
